Time management is a challenge for most people.  Anyone who has tried working from home, even for a short period of time, knows how difficult it can be to be productive, efficient, and effective at actually getting work done.  There are so many distractions facing home entrepreneurs throughout the day that it can be difficult to be productive and feel like you are actually getting something accomplished.

Distractions equal disruption, and disruption results in delays, frustration and dissapointment.  Many people think that because they can “multi-task” they are still productive.  Let me tell you this, just because you are productive (or getting something done) doesn’t mean that you are actually effective.  The question really is, are you getting the right things done.

Multi-tasking is evil.

In reality there is no way that you can effectively do two things at once, and you are certainly not getting things done any quicker by multi-tasking.  Don’t fall into the trap of believing that you can juggle multiple tasks at the same time.  Instead, try and tackle just one task at a time.  The end result will be a better quality output in the least amount of time to produce.
